IndianFoodCart was born out of a personal journey and a deep understanding of the Indian community’s needs in Vietnam.
Mrs. Nidhi Arora has been living in Vietnam since the year 2000. During her early years in Saigon, she faced a constant challenge that many Indian families experienced — the lack of access to high-quality Indian groceries. Most Indian commodities available in the local market were routed through Cambodia, often arriving with low quality grades, damaged packaging, expired products, and extremely high prices. At that time, there was only one store catering to Indian groceries, offering limited choices with poor quality control.
Determined to change this situation, in 2014, Mrs. Nidhi took a bold step. She directly connected with top Indian manufacturers and trusted suppliers in India and began importing Indian food products directly into Vietnam. Each and every product was officially registered with the Vietnamese government, ensuring full compliance, safety, and authenticity. With a vision to serve the growing Indian community, she launched an online retail platform that provided door-to-door delivery across Vietnam, making genuine Indian groceries easily accessible to Indian families for the first time.
